Employee Benefits and Protection Measures

Comply with labor -related regulations
Employees add more care and guarantee.

  • Employee Welfare
    In addition to the requirements of the Labor Standards Act and related regulations, we provide our employees with external education and training subsidies, internal training courses or publications, annual health checks, group insurance, and self-paid insurance for dependents.
    We allocate employee welfare funds by law, establish an employee welfare committee, and provide the following employee benefits: birthday parties, company trips, group anniversary celebrations, year-end parties, employee coffee bars, and employee discount stores or group buying discounts.
    In terms of caring for female colleagues, we have set up a breastfeeding room to provide female colleagues with a safe and comfortable space for breastfeeding.
    In terms of leaves, we provide our employees with annual special leave, sick leave, maternity leave, prenatal checkups, paternity leave, tocolysis leave, menstrual leave, family care leave, and bereavement leave, all of which are in accordance with the R.O.C. laws and regulations. We also provide employees with one day of paid travel leave each year in addition to employee travel subsidies.
    For marriage and childbirth, relevant allowances are provided by the Employee Welfare Committee. In case of hospitalization or serious injury, in addition to group insurance claims, the company also provides condolence gifts and pay visits.
  • Employee Training
    When engaging new employees in orientation training, we not only assign them externally to receive training on new technologies and the latest laws and regulations but also provide them with internal training. This not only allows our employees to have access to new information but also helps our seed talents develop inductive integration and presentation skills. To bring our employees' talent into full play and develop talents of high quality, we provide occupational training for individuals and relevant training programs required by laws and regulations.
    Having received the "Work-Life Balance" subsidy from the Ministry of Labor, we organized an employee assistance program and invited the founder and CEO of the "Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society" to provide a stress reduction program that lasted for 4 weeks. Targeting cadres and mid-level executives of the company, the training this time is aimed at assisting the trainees to reduce stress and solve problems under multiple pressures such as organizational requirements, project completion, team expectations, family pressure, and physical stress. Many trainees changed significantly after the training and applied it to their families and work. Even the family members of the trainees felt the power of "mindfulness".
  • Pension Plan
    According to the provisions of the Labor Standards Act, we have established a pension plan and engaged all our employees in it. Under the supervision of the supervisory committee of the workers' retirement reserve fund, a joint organization of workers and employers, the labor retirement reserve fund is allocated according to the prescribed ratio and is saved in a special account at the Bank of Taiwan (formerly Central Trust of China). Since July 1, 2005, we have established a pension plan with a defined contribution of 6% each month based on the provisions of the Labor Pension Act, which applies to employees of Taiwanese nationality.
  • Introduction of Professional Medical Management Consultants
    To promote risk management in healthcare, create a healthy workplace, and raise our employees' awareness of healthcare, we collaborate with professional medical management consultants and recruited licensed physicians and registered nurses to take care of our employees' physical health. We also worked with professional psychologists to take care of our employees' mental health. Furthermore, we also provide health education, food & nutrition workshop, mental health seminar, and physical fitness program to help our employees improve cardiopulmonary function, increase muscle endurance, and prevent injuries and diseases related to long-term sitting positions in the office. We not only meet statutory and regulatory requirements but also protect our employees so that they can bring their vitality and creativity into full play.
  • Labor-management agreement on the protection of employee rights and interests
    In addition to buying labor insurance and national health insurance for all our employees as required by law, we also allocate labor retirement reserves and pay labor pensions every month in preparation of labor retirement according to Labor Standards Act along with other working conditions. To promote labor-management cooperation and create a win-win situation for labor and management, we select representatives of both labor and management and hold regular labor-management meetings every quarter. Should there be major issues that emerge out of expectation, we would also hold special meetings to jointly discuss labor-management issues.
  • Workplace
    1. Strict access control and video surveillance system 24 hours around the clock: Aside from the security guard stationed on the ground floor being in charge of access control, access control card readers are installed at the entrance and exit of each floor of the company. Only personnel holding access control card is allowed to enter or leave the floor. We also install a video surveillance system to secure the personal safety of our employees.
    2. According to the "Regulations for Inspecting and Reporting Buildings Public Security", we regularly (at least once a year) cooperate with the property management center and entrust professionals with the public security inspections of our company.
    3. To safeguard the health of our employees, we strictly prohibit smoking in the office area, provide CPR training, conduct regular inspections of fire equipment, and hold fire drills. We also clean and disinfect the office space (at least once a year) and clean air conditioners and water towers (twice to four times a year).
    4. To protect employees who are sent on business trips or work night shifts, we collaborate with taxi companies to send our employees back and forth.
  • Protection of Employees’ Personal Safety
    To fulfill corporate social responsibility and protect the basic human rights of all employees, we recognize and voluntarily follow internationally recognized human rights standards such as "UDHR", "UNGC", "UNGPs", and "ILO" to eliminate any breaches and infringements of human rights and abide by the labor-related laws and regulations of the country where the company is located.
    To safeguard the rights and interests of our employees and secure their occupational health and safety, we have devised "Practices Governing the Recruitment, Selection, and Appointment of Employees", "Work Rules for Employees", "Practices Governing the Prevention, Grievance, and Punishment of Sexual Harassment in Workplace", "Plans for Preventing Occupational Diseases Caused by Overly Heavy Workload", "Plans for Preventing Unlawful Infringement in the Line of Duty", "Plans for Protecting Maternity Health in Workplace", and "Plans for Preventing Human-caused Hazards" in accordance with relevant labor laws, human rights conventions, and occupational safety and health laws and regulations.
    Aside from labor insurance and national health insurance, we also bought group insurance for all our employees which covers group health insurance, group accident insurance, and group cancer insurance. For employees sent on business trips, we also bought travel insurance for them. In response to the COVID-19 epidemic in 2021, we not only provided paid vaccination leave that is superior to the law but also pay for the epidemic prevention and vaccine insurance premiums in full to safeguard our employees' health and personal well-being.
